Mr. Jasvender Singh
Non-Executive Independent Director
Mr. Jasvender Singh holds a Master’s degree in Economics and brings over 10 years of experience in business strategy development. With strong expertise in crafting and executing strategies for organizational growth, he excels in financial analysis, strategic planning, and maximizing outcomes. His management, communication, and problem-solving skills enable him to lead teams effectively, address challenges, and ensure long-term sustainability for organizations.
Passionate about community development, Mr. Singh seeks to leverage his education and experience to create solutions that benefit both businesses and the communities they serve. He is committed to using his skills to drive organizational success while contributing to social responsibility and sustainable growth in the areas he works.
Mr. Asim Mushtaq
Non-Executive Independent Director
Asim Mushtaq is a fellow member of the Institute of Public Finance Accountants and has more than 25 years of diverse and rich experience in Financial Product Development, financial inclusion, Education Technologies, agriculture value chain, private sector development, information technologies, and Entrepreneurship.
Mr. Asim has experience carrying out surveys and research, Industry profiling, mapping emerging trends, business modelling, strategy formulation, capacity building, and market assessment/linkages. He also successfully designed various programs and founded different business ventures in information technology, education technology, and health and agriculture value chains. He has designed financial products, entrepreneurship programs, workforce skills development, and entrepreneurship programs. He also has experience developing business models for agriculture for market connectivity with extensive markets/alternative supply chain systems, health and education sector for technological integration and expanding outreach.
He also has rich experience in the Microfinance sector and has worked with Asian Development Bank-funded Improving Access to Financial Service Program, European Union-funded Financial Sector Reform Program, and Swiss Development Cooperation funded Financial Sector Strengthening Program. In the Microfinance sector, his experience in strategy formulation, MIS designing, Portfolio review, Institutional reviews, financial product development and capacity building.
Mr. Amar Sham Khangharani
Non-Executive Independent Director
Mr. Amar Sham Khangharani is Program Coordinator at Development Alternatives Incorporated – Karachi Youth Initiative (KYI). He holds a degree in B.Sc (Hons) Economics with 7 plus years of experience leading, designing and implementing a diverse array of projects ranging from poverty alleviation and education to research and CVE programming. He possess phenomenal professional and technical skills which includes Project Management and Tracking, Monitoring & Evaluation, Strategic planning, Learning and Knowledge Management, Policy Research and Writing, Grant Management, Team Organization, Proficient in STATA, MS Office Suite, SPSS and website design and content management. He also has command on report writing and analysis.
He began his professional experience as Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting (MER) Specialist and played a vital role at varying positions at Karachi Youth Initiative (KYI). Other than that, he also worked as a Research Associate at London School of Economics – International Growth Center (IGC). In addition to his professional experience, he also has done a lot of volunteer-work including Volunteer, Thardeep Rural Development Programme (TRDP), and Muslim Jewish Conference (MJC) 2014 where he represented Pakistan and Consultant, Rural Credit and Enterprise Development, SRSO.
Mr. Syed Kashif

Mr. Syed Kashif Hayat holds a Master’s degree in Commerce (M.COM) with Distinction, specializing in Accounting and Finance. With over 25 years of experience in financial management, grants compliance, budgeting, and staff capacity building, he has built a distinguished career in the development sector. His expertise extends across managing financial operations for international organizations, ensuring adherence to donor compliance, and optimizing financial systems to achieve program objectives.
Throughout his career, Mr. Hayat has worked with major global entities such as Global Fund, USAID, DFID, UNICEF, UNHCR, the World Bank, Gates Foundation, and many others, providing him with in-depth knowledge of donor regulations and financial frameworks. His ability to oversee complex financial operations and manage budgets for large-scale projects has made him a trusted professional in his field. Additionally, his leadership in staff capacity building has contributed significantly to the development and efficiency of teams, ensuring organizational growth and effective program implementation.
Ms. Gulshan Kaur

Ms. Gulshan Kaur is the CEO of MOJAZ Support Program since July 2016. Graduated with a Master’s degree in International Relations, She has 13 years of experience in development sector specifically with the last 8 years focusing on poverty reduction through micro and rural financing. She has served as Member of the Board for various profit/non-profit organizations, Chairperson of Board Committee on Risk Management for MOJAZ Foundation and served MOJAZ Foundation as CEO. She has sound practical experience in working as an expert on gender sensitive poverty reduction programs, policy frameworks, and implementing microfinance programs. She also has extensive experience in design, implementation and evaluation of microfinance programs as well as in assisting different non-government organizations and donors in policy development. She has strong skills and experience in microfinance market research leading to the development of client-focused products and cost-effective delivery systems. She has a specific interest in the design of sustainable microfinance models adapted to the financial needs of micro-entrepreneurs, and which are capable of including the poor and remote rural communities. She has analytical, managerial and leadership skills to identify institutional issues and contribute to address them by analyzing with a better understanding of current trends and developing strategies.
Under her supervision, MOJAZ has been honored by “Most Innovative MIFI Award 2015” arranged by Citi-PPAF Micro-Entrepreneurship Award.
