With Agribusiness Support Fund:


MOJAZ FOUNDATION has established its partnership with Agribusiness Support Fund (ASF) to improve livelihood for farming and non farming community of rural Narowal, Multan and Muzzafargarh through community-managed market based agriculture development program. The program emphasizes on converting traditional agriculture practices to agri-based micro enterprise development that ensures household income enhancement particularly in women. The program focuses on enhancement in production of horticulture crops: Potato, Guava, peas, cauliflower through agricultural extension services and establishing model (demonstration plots) farms, introducing off season vegetable farming and formation of farmer enterprise groups (FEG) to make them a sound agriculture based enterprises.

Following interventions are supposed to be initiated by this agreement:

  • Latest agriculture technology introduction to community at their doorstep
  • Provide assistance regarding all kinds of issues relating to latest agriculture interventions
  • Free consultancy regarding latest agriculture trends to maximize output

Provision of financing for agriculture operations. Different training and seminar programs have been arranged to build the capacity of farmer by introducing latest technological breakthroughs for enhancement of agriculture production. MOJAZ’s agriculture farms (Demonstration plots) are set up in collaboration of agribusiness Support Fund for settlement of model farms introducing latest farming methods for maximization of yield. Tunnel farms have set to grow off season crops (Fruits & vegetables).This type of Agri-production is a latest technique to get maximum yield. We are striving to provide free assistance to the small farmers and any kind of technical advices in setting up tunnel farms free of cost. Moreover we are training people by conducting exposure visits and training programs for the sake of capacity building. To date three natural resource management seminars have been arranged and a three days training program for knowledge sharing related to agriculture field.
